This is by far the best veterinary hospital. Dr. Cohen, Dr. Sherrill, and the entire staff at Peninsula Animal Hospital are absolutely amazing. Dr. Cohen is encouraging, thoughtful, funny, and wonderfully witty. He instantly puts both pets and humans at ease. What truly sets him apart is that he always takes the time to fully evaluate the situation and offer thoughtful, alternative solutions rather than rushing into the most aggressive option. Years ago, my pup had a leg injury and every other veterinary hospital we consulted immediately recommended surgery instead of rehabilitation. Dr. Cohen carefully evaluated her and advised against surgery unless it became absolutely necessary. Thank goodness we trusted his guidance. Today, she is healthy, loves running on the beach, and has no limitations at all. I am beyond grateful for his expertise, honesty, and care. I highly recommend Peninsula Animal Hospital to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

Our 8yr old Yorkie, Sparkle developed kidney disease and other related disorders. After several months of intensive care by PAH, she left for doggy heaven. The entire team at PAH, especially Dr Sherrill, was so amazing, professional, compassionate, readily available. They treated Sparkle like she was their own dog! We will be forever grateful for their compassion and expert care.

As usual, I felt that Dr. Cohen really cared about me and about Atticus when I brought him in. Dr. C. is so thorough, giving me lots of feedback and clear explanations. He has also been supportive about Echo's recent troubles. It's really comforting to know he's looking out for us.

Returned with my cat for Solensia injection. Noticed again how clean and disinfected the premises are kept. Given a quiet room to wait with cat as the tech room was busy (and they had squeezed me in for an appointment) Tech and trainee came in and administered the injection. Everything went super smoothly and that’s how we like it especially the cat. Thank you for your professionalism.

I love having veterinarians That take the time to get to know my dog. They ask all the right questions and take the time to answer mine.

We have been depending on Veterinary care at Penninsula since they were in Pacific Grove. We have been extremely pleased with their medical care of Joy, who approaching his senior senior years. Dr Cohen and Dr Sherrill (our primary) are wonderful people and skilled Veterinarians - you can trust them !!!

Dr Cohen and his staff are patient and extremely gentle with my Cat and I. I witness the same care taken with all clients. I am grateful to have them caring for my pets.

We are two medical professionals in the area and we have two high drive working dogs. After checking out other local vets in the area, who were great as well, we decided to keep this vet's office as our primary because they are exceptional. They are attentive to detail and their billing practices are clear cut, they also take their time to answer questions in detail. They even pointed out things about dog treats that can be harmful, and many other tidbits about dog health that I would have otherwise never known. I had my puppy neutered here and I could tell the procedure was done with expertise and that they did great post op care without using too much anesthesia and enough fluids for speedy recovery. Great incisions and clean dressing, and no rough shaving in the surgical area either. It's these little things that show their skill and care.

I appreciate the compassionate caring that emanates from the employees. They love animals and treat them like their own. Of greater importance is that the doctors are well educated and know how to treat illnesses and injuries. I’ve been with them a number of years and wouldn’t know what to do without them. They are available in emergencies and quick to make time available.

PAH is the best practice around! Easy to book appts and everyone we spoke with made it a smooth process. The staff is also so hardworking and knowledgeable— They are a busy clinic but everyone was so friendly! For our visit, we had the pleasure of working with Amberlyn and she was so kind and patient. She went above and beyond when going over everything with us for our dog’s visit. You can tell she has a lot of passion for this field. It’s rare to find staff members that we feel so comfortable speaking to besides the vets. We will definitely be sending all our friends to Peninsula! Thank you!
